Gibb Hill Neolithic Long Barrow in the Peak District of Derbyshire England UK. Originally built in the stone age as a long barrow this ancient burial site was reused in the bronze age as a round barrow. The site was one of the first protected ancient monuments in England , receiving its protection in 1882. The area protected was marked by small square stones surrounding the site and marked with a VR for Victoria Regina.
