Pulteney Bridge Bath Somerset from the air
aerial photograph of Pulteney Bridge across the River Avon in Bath Somerset England UK Grade I listed Pulteney Bridge was built in 1774 and designed by Robert Adam in Palladian style . A bridge with shops down both sides is most usual , there are only 4 world wide. Although its 18t century design was only intended for horse and carriage, today it is crossed by motor vehicles. Pulteney Bridge is part of the City of Bath UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of Somerset's top tourist attractions.
