Smithfield Market London
aerial photograph of Smithfield Market London England UK. Grade II listed Smithfield Market was built in 1868 and designed by architect Sir Horace Jones. The Poultry Market burned down in 1958 and was replaced in 1961-63 by a new building designed by T P Bennett and Son ( the part with the green roof ) which is itself now also grade II listed.
