aerial photograph of Martholme Viaduct, Read, Lancashire UK. Grade II listed Martholme Viaduct was built 1870–77 for the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway and carried the Great Harwood Loop line over the River Calder. The engineer was Sturges Meek and the line operated until closure in 1957.
