Kingsnorth power station aerial photograph
aerial photograph of Kingsnorth power station Kent England UK. Kingsnorth power station was built 1963 -1973 on the site of RNAS Kingsnorth, a former Royal Naval airship base. It could be fuelled with coal, oil or biomass although usually it ran on coal. The power station was closed in 2012 with demolition being carried out between 2014 and 2018.
