Bury Station on the East Lancs Railway
aerial photograph of Bury Station on the East Lancashire Railway. Originally built between 1844 and 1859 passenger services ended in 1972 with the railways closing altogether in 1982. The line was reopened in 1987 by the East Lancashire Railway Trust and is now one of Lancashires top tourist attractions.
