Ironbridge power station was opened in 1969 and initially ran alongside the earlier Ironbridge power station built in 1932. The older power station was demolished in the 1980s and the newer power station, known as Ironbridge B, followed it into the history books when it too was decomisioned in 2015 and demolished in 2019. This photograph was taken in 2013 when the power station was still in service.
