In the lower left is St Mary's , a medieval church dates back in part to 1200 although the North Chapel and Chancel date to 1486.In the background is the ruins of another medieval church, St Martins. Lower right is the Old Hall surrounded by its moat. In medieval times this area was a bustling village but now most of the original buildings have disappeared. The current old hall dates from around 1700 and is the remains of one wing of a much larger house with parts of it date back to the 16th Century. The adjacent Barn buildings also date from the 17th and 18th Centuries.
