The church is an unusual mix of 13th Century early medieval thatched and late medieval slate construction.The Church Bell dates from the 13th Century and may be the oldest in Norfolk. Just above the church in the photo can be seen a large tmb. This is the grave of Robert Hales, known as the Norfolk Giant who was 7´6" tall. The Church wardens recently won and English Heritage award for their work in preserving the church.
