Sheffield Manor Lodge aerial photograph
aerial photograph of Sheffield Manor Lodge, Sheffield,South Yorkshire Great Britain, UK. Sheffield Manor Lodge was built during the reign of Henry VIII around 1516 as a Lodge in what at the time was a large deer park. The largest remaining part is the Turret House which was constructed in the latter half of the 16th century and is also known as "Queen Mary's Tower" as Mary, Queen of Scots was imprisoned in it. The Manor fell into ruins in the 18th century, however what remains was restored in the early 21st century and is now one of Sheffield's most popular tourist attractions.
