Fort Paull
aerial photograph Fort Paull in Yorkshire UK. Fort Paull is one of the Palmerston Forts built in 1861 to 1864 in response to a perceived threat of invasion. In World War 1 it was replaced by new forts further along the coast and by 1960 it was no longer needed by the military. In more recent times it has been preserved as a museum.
