aerial photograph of Saham Toney Roman Fort Norfolk.
aerial photograph of Woodcock Hall Roman Fort , Saham Tooney, Norfolk. Showing only as a crop mark outline in the summer wheat field. The site at Woodcock Hall was occupied from the late Iron Age until the Romans left in the 4th Century AD and the fort was probably built to guard a crossing point on the river in the upper right of the photograph.
