Hussey Tower Boston England UK from the air
aerial photograph of the Hussey Tower Boston Lincolnshire England UK. Hussey Tower is all that remains of a fortified house built in the 15th century for Richard Bennington. It gets its name from its subsequent owner Lord Hussesy who was beheaded by Henry VIII in 1537 for his part in the Pilgrimage of Grace after which the building passed to the Corporation of Boston. Most of the house and buildings were dismantled in the 18th Century.
