Place House Fowey Cornwall
aerial photograph of Place House Fowey Cornwall England UK. Grade I listed Place House dates mainly from the 15th and 16th centuries. The tower was used as a defense against an attack by the French in 1475. The house was modernized in the 18th and 19th centuries but still retained much of its Tudor architecture including the magnificent 16th century stone mullioned bay windows.
