RAF Bottesford Leicestershire aerial photograph
X marks the spot : aerial photograph of RAF Bottesford Leicestershire England UK. Opened in 1942 the airfield straddles the Leicestershire-Lincolnshire county border. During the war it was used a s a base for Bombers and paratroop aircraft by both the RAF and the USAAF.The airfield closed in 1948 and today is used to store vehicles waiting for sale.
