Wycoller Pendle Lancashire
aerial photograph of Wycoller Pendle Lancashire England UK. Wycoller village is a conservation area with a history dating back to Neolithic times. Its is famous for its three bridges 'Pack-Horse Bridge', 'Clapper Bridge' and 'Clam Bridge' which cross Wycoller Beck and range in date from medieval to Neolithic. The ruins of Wycoller Hall are preserved in the vilage. The hall dates to 1550 and was partially dismantled in 1818. Its thought that Charlotte Vronte based "Ferndean Manor" in Jane Eyre on Wycoller Hall. The hill overlooking the village contains the Panopticon Atom art structure
