BAE Samlesbury aerial photograph
aerial photograph of BAE Samlesbury aerodrome Lancashire UK. Samlesbury aerodrome was first proposed as an airport for Preston and Blackburn, however it was actually constructed as an aircraft factory in 1939-1940. Although flying no longer takes place at the aerodrome, it is still used as a BAE Systems aircraft factory and currently produces parts for the F35 and Eurofighter Typhoon.
